Cancellation & Refund Policy

Applies once a Guest has accepted an invitation and made payment toward a Journey

Effective Date: August 4, 2026  |  Entity: Aventerre LLC, a Delaware limited liability company

1. Overview

This policy applies to Guests who have received a confirmed invitation to an Aventerre Journey and made a deposit or payment. It should be read together with Aventerre's Terms & Conditions, which it supplements.

2. Deposit & Payment Schedule

A deposit of 25% of the total Journey price is due at the time of confirmation to secure your place. This deposit is non-refundable once paid. The remaining balance (75% of the total price) is due 60 days before the Journey's departure date.

Example, for illustration only: on a $4,400 Journey, the deposit is $1,100 (due at confirmation) and the balance is $3,300 (due 60 days before departure).

3. Guest-Initiated Cancellations

Example, for illustration only, on a $4,400 Journey: cancelling more than 60 days out refunds $3,300; cancelling 30–60 days out refunds $1,650; cancelling within 30 days refunds nothing.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@aventerre.co. The date a request is received determines which tier applies.

4. Aventerre-Initiated Cancellations

If Aventerre cancels a Journey, affected Guests will receive, at their choice, either a full refund of all amounts paid (including the deposit) or a full credit toward a future Journey of equivalent value.

5. Rescheduling & Transfers

A Guest may request, one time per booking, to transfer their place to a different Journey date within 12 months of the original departure date, at no additional cost, provided the request is made at least 30 days before the original departure date. The deposit carries forward rather than being refunded.

6. Force Majeure

Aventerre is not obligated to provide a cash refund beyond what is set out in this policy for cancellations resulting from events outside its reasonable control. Where reasonably possible, Aventerre will offer affected Guests a credit toward a future Journey.

7. Non-Refundable Third-Party Costs

Certain costs — such as non-refundable venue commitments already made on your behalf, or travel arrangements booked independently by you — may not be recoverable regardless of when a cancellation is requested.

8. Removal for Conduct

A Guest removed from a Journey for violating Aventerre's Code of Conduct is not entitled to a refund under this policy.

9. How to Request a Cancellation

Email hello@aventerre.co with your name and booking details. Aventerre will confirm receipt and the applicable refund, if any, in writing within 5 business days.
